东京星座

作品简介: 如今的东京都内已有超过7,600家便利店。在这幅星图中，我将分布在东京都的便利店比作星星。与天空中的星星不同，便利店的“星”会因新店开业而增加，也会因关店而减少。这幅星图记录的，正是此刻才存在的星辰景象。我参考了古代人将神话人物或生活器物的形象映射到星星上创造星座的方式，用便利店联想出的商品与事物来构成新的星座。

Description: There are now more than 7,600 convenience stores within Tokyo. In this star map, I likened the distribution of these stores across the city to stars in the sky. Unlike celestial stars, however, the “stars” of convenience stores increase with new openings and decrease with closures. This star map records a constellation scene that exists only in this very moment. Inspired by how people in ancient times projected mythological figures or everyday objects onto the stars to create constellations, I constructed new constellations by linking convenience stores and imagining the products or items associated with them.
