- 真实提取了东京圈电车的运行动态。通过细致的数据标注,生动地进行了可视化表达。作者根据平日早上8点至9点这两个时段的时刻表,计算出运行中的列车数量及其移动轨迹,并将其以动态图形的形式表现出来。中央线、山手线以及地铁银座线等,作为支撑东京交通的强大基础设施,列车的脉动形态在作品中得以传达。东京的电车运行,拥有首尔、伦敦、北京、雅加达、纽约等城市所没有的异常复杂性与精密度。这种运行动态正是东京这座城市的生命力所在。据说每日超过70万人在新宿站上下车,这不仅是街区规模或车站规模所决定的,而是由复杂联结的整个铁路网络的流动性所产生的数量和动态感。图像虽然小而精细,却精准捕捉到了这个巨大都市的动态本质。

- This work visualizes the real operational dynamics of trains in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Through detailed data mapping, it vividly represents train movement. Based on timetables from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. on weekdays, the number of trains in operation and their trajectories were calculated and expressed as dynamic graphics. Major lines such as the Chūō Line, Yamanote Line, and Ginza Subway Line—key infrastructures supporting Tokyo’s transportation—are depicted as pulsating forms within the work. The train operations of Tokyo possess a level of complexity and precision unmatched by cities such as Seoul, London, Beijing, Jakarta, or New York. These rhythms are the lifeblood of the city. It is said that more than 700,000 people pass through Shinjuku Station each day. This figure is not merely the result of the station’s size or the district’s scale, but of the interconnected flow of the entire rail network. The imagery, though small and intricate, precisely captures the dynamic essence of this vast metropolis.
