Biophilic Blues（亲生命之蓝）

作品简介: 我第一次被那种蓝色深深吸引，是在亲身体验藍染（靛蓝染）的时候。最初，布料呈现带有茶色的深绿色，随后开始闪耀出祖母绿色的光辉，渐渐地染成蓝色。在这种色彩变化的过程中，我窥见了强烈的生命感与大自然的神秘。在创作中，我试图通过表现海与空的抽象景象，来传达那种难以用语言描述的自然色彩之美。我将事先染好的丝、麻等纱线均匀地一圈圈缠绕在木板上，反复构建画面。纵向的线条让人联想到天空，横向的线条让人想起海洋。希望这件作品能成为观者重新发现藍染本真魅力的契机。

Description: The first time I was deeply captivated by that shade of blue was when I personally experienced indigo dyeing. At first, the fabric appeared as a deep green tinged with brown, then began to shine with an emerald glow, and gradually transformed into blue. Within this process of shifting colors, I glimpsed a powerful sense of life and the mystery of nature. In this work, I sought to convey the indescribable beauty of natural colors by expressing abstract images of the sea and sky. Pre-dyed yarns of silk and hemp were wound evenly, loop by loop, around wooden boards to build up the surface layer by layer. The vertical threads evoke the sky, while the horizontal threads recall the ocean. Through this piece, I hope to offer viewers an opportunity to rediscover the essential allure of indigo dyeing.
