- 这是一件以竹材为主要结构材料、直径 7 米的球形网格穹顶装置。作品借鉴了巴克敏斯特·富勒提出的球形网格穹顶(Geodesic Dome) 原理,以轻盈而稳定的几何结构,呈现自然材料与工程美学之间的张力。竹子作为一种可再生材料,不仅带来东方语境中的有机质感,也指向对可持续性与生态建构的思考。该装置既是一项建筑性的实验,也是一种关于空间与自然关系的艺术实践。
2025 年 10 月 6 日与 7 日,在板东教授的带领下,30 位来自上海的参与者在复兴公园的大草坪上,于 35℃ 的高温中共同完成了这座直径 7 米的竹制穹顶。这是该作品第一次在中国的落地。作品同时将持续展出至本次《形态的诗学》展览闭幕。

7m Bamboo Geodesic Dome

- This work is a bamboo-structured geodesic dome with a diameter of seven meters. Drawing on Buckminster Fuller’s principle of the geodesic dome, it employs a lightweight yet stable geometric system to articulate the tension between natural material and structural engineering. As a renewable material, bamboo brings an organic sensibility rooted in East Asian contexts while also pointing toward questions of sustainability and ecological construction. The installation functions both as an architectural experiment and as an artistic exploration of the relationship between space and nature.
On October 6 and 7, 2025, under the direction of Professor Bando, thirty participants from Shanghai collaboratively built this seven-meter-diameter bamboo dome on the main lawn of Fuxing Park, working together in temperatures reaching 35°C. This marked the first realization of the work in China. The installation will remain on view through the closing of the exhibition.
